Álvaro Nelson Lamas García

A graduate of the Universidad de Trabajo del Uruguay, he has more than 45 years of experience in the field.

He was president of the Uruguayan Association for the Prevention of Accidents, and of the Latin American Association for Safety and Hygiene at Work. He founded CIS Consultores in 1986 in his country of origin, and since 1999 he has been based in Mexico, leading a team that has multiplied exponentially.

Álvaro has served hundreds of clients, guiding them in the creation of ideal work environments, adapted to the worker and the environment. He combines his work activity with his academic activity, serving as Director and Professor at the Instituto de Administración de Riesgos (IDEAR).
